Why Not Schedule a Visit to the Library!
Calling all Teachers

The Library welcomes visits/field trips to the Library from childcare centers, preschools, kindergartens and other classrooms.

We ask that you schedule your visit at least 2 weeks in advance.

All visits need to be properly chaperoned and supervised.
Most visits are approximately 30 to 40 minutes in length and would typically include:

 - a brief tour of the Children's Room

 - a Story Time

 - brief explanation of how to get a Library card; how to choose, check out as well as the proper care of books and other materials; proper Library behavior

 - free exploration of the Children's Room.

If given enough notice, children over 5 may get their own Library card.  In order to do this, teachers need to send home applications to be signed by parents.  These applications need to be returned to the Library 1 week prior to the scheduled visit.

For more information, call "Miss Lynda" at 895-9543 or send her an email lynda@fremontpubliclibrary.org.
