Yarn-thon- III: Double Duty
A Heartfelt Thanks!!

"Giving Hands" of Fremont extends a heartfelt "Thank You!" to all who
attended and/or contributed handmade clothing to last Saturday's
"Yarn-a-thon."  We greatly appreciate the talent displayed and generosity
expressed, and we know that the recipients of the many hats, scarves, and
mittens will also be grateful to you.   In addition, we were very pleased to
see new faces and the willing hearts of those who came to learn the craft we
love.  It was a pleasure to meet you; and we look forward to seeing you at
the next event.

God bless you all!

Memorial Bench for Barbara Baker

Generous donations have allowed us to put a beautiful granite bench on the side of the library beneath the flagpole in memory of Barbara Baker.  Barb was a devoted and well respected Library Trustee for 10 years.  She was avidly involved in the process of building our new library and was quite proud of it.  She was dear in our hearts and is greatly missed.
